I WOKE UP LIKE THIS

I remember the day like it was yesterday, the day that I decided to change my life forever. I was a whopping 220 lbs and depressed. I woke up like this every day and it was not flawless, I’ll tell you that loves!

I was totally fed up with the life that I was living, enough was enough! It was time for a major change. I was a mother of two and I knew I had to give my boys a better lifestyle full of healthy living choices. I never wanted them to experience what I experienced battling with my fork my entire life. I decided I was going to clean out my temple and be well once and for all.

It was the hottest November in Honolulu, HI back in 2003. I went on a search binge to find all of the information I could get my hands on in order to assist me as I embarked on my journey to living a healthier plant based life. The first step was to begin a detox as I studied, studied and studied some more. It was during this point in my life that I was able to get reacquainted with myself and the world around me. What a beautiful journey it has been! Healing my mind, body & spirit. 7 months later and 80 lbs lighter I felt like I had a new lease on life. I was just getting started.

I could not believe the many changes, for the better I had experienced in so little time. I had increased energy, my skin was clearer with a more youthful glow, better sleep & focus just to name a few. While I fell under scrutiny from my family and friends, I did not let that stop me from continuing on my path to optimal health and well-being. I was absolutely determined to master my new lifestyle. This became a healthy obsession. I became a self-taught vegan chef after countless kitchen trials and errors. There was no other option back in 2003. The cook books, study of plants & herbs, self healing, classes and endless research continued. The journey continues today and I wouldn’t have it no other way.

I am so grateful I woke up like this on that hot day in November on the island of Oahu back in 2003. Eager, ready and willing to take back my life and live it to the fullest. I encourage you to live your best life. Get started on your self healing journey NOW! You'll be so happy you did.
