Together, we transformed cauliflower into a delicate rice-like texture, mixed in wholesome seeds, and sprinkled aromatic herbs to create a flavorful crust.

A Colorful Collaboration: With the crust ready, the real fun began as Zen and Saje joyfully added vibrant bell peppers, crisp cucumber, and juicy tomatoes to our pizza canvas. Their eyes sparkled with delight as they arranged fresh basil leaves, turning our creation into a work of edible art.

The Recipe



  • 1 large cauliflower head

  • 1 cup ground flaxseeds

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds

  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Desired toppings (e.g., sliced vegetables, fresh herbs, vegan cheese)


  1. Cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse them in a food processor until they resemble rice-like grains.

  2. Transfer the cauliflower rice to a clean kitchen towel or nut milk bag and squeeze out any excess moisture.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower rice, ground flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, nutritional yeast, dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated.

  4. Place the mixture onto a non-stick dehydrator sheet or parchment paper and shape it into a round or rectangular pizza crust, about 1/4 inch thick.

  5. Dehydrate the crust at 115°F (46°C) for 4-6 hours, or until it becomes firm and holds its shape.

  6. Once the crust is ready, remove it from the dehydrator and carefully flip it over.

  7. Add your desired toppings, such as sliced vegetables and fresh herbs, onto the crust.

  8. Return the pizza to the dehydrator and continue dehydrating for another 2-4 hours, or until the toppings are slightly softened and the flavors meld together.

  9. Remove the pizza from the dehydrator, slice, and serve immediately.

Note: If you don't have a dehydrator, you can also bake the crust in the oven at the lowest temperature setting with the door slightly ajar. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.

Cashew Vegan Cheese Recipe:


  • 1 cup raw cashews (soaked in water for at least 4 hours or overnight)

  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • Water (as needed for desired consistency)


  1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews, then place them in a high-speed blender or food processor.

  2. Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, onion powder, and salt to the blender.

  3. Start blending on low speed and gradually increase to high, scraping down the sides as needed. If the mixture is too thick, add water, a tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is achieved.

  4. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, similar to the texture of traditional cheese.

  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning as desired. You can add more lemon juice, salt, or nutritional yeast to suit your taste preference.

  6. Transfer the cheese mixture to a clean container or mold of your choice, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  7. Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until the cheese has firmed up.

  8. Once firm, the cashew vegan cheese is ready to be enjoyed. It can be sliced, grated, or spread onto crackers, bread, or any dish of your choice.

Note: The cheese will continue to firm up in the refrigerator, so if you prefer a firmer consistency, you can leave it overnight.
